Hi, I'm Dave Palazzolo, a freelance Assistant Director, Line Producer, Production Manager, Location Manager, and Production Assistant with hands-on experience across a wide range of film and media projects. From narrative shorts, to branded content, to an original movie musical, I'm known for strong leadership, clear communication, and a highly collaborative approach to production.
I’ve always been drawn to the behind-the-scenes side of storytelling: the planning, problem-solving, and teamwork it takes to bring a project to life. That passion led me to pursue a degree in Film & Television at Columbia College Chicago, where I’ve specialized in managing on-set logistics, coordinating crews, and keeping productions on time, on budget, and running smoothly.
Currently based in Chicago, I’ll be relocating to Los Angeles in Fall 2025 through Columbia’s Semester in LA program. I’m always excited to join thoughtful, well-run productions that value both creativity and craft.
